10 Reasons Why God Created Eve...
10. God worried that Adam would be lost in the Garden of Eden because he wouldn't
ask for directions. 9. God knew that someday Adam would need someone to hand
him the TV remote. (Parenthetically, it has been noted that men don't want to see what's ON TV;
they want to see WHAT ELSE is on.) 8. God knew that Adam would never make a doctor's
appointment. 7. God knew that when Adam's fig leaf wore out, he would never buy a new
one for himself. 6. God knew that Adam would not remember to take out the garbage. 5.
God wanted man to be fruitful and multiply, but he knew Adam would never be able to handle labor pains and childbirth. 4.
As "keeper of the garden," Adam would need help in finding his tools. 3. Adam needed
someone to blame for the Apple Incident, and for anything else that was really his fault. 2.
As the Bible says: "It is not good for man to be alone." 1. And the No. 1 reason of
all [Ta - dah, drum roll, fanfare, etc.]
God stepped back,
looked at Adam, and declared: "I can do better than that."

The Great I AM |

From the beginning of time, God has been the great I AM. He explained this to Moses in
Exodus 3:14,15 NKJV: “I AM WHO I AM.” And He (God) said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel,
‘I AM has sent me to you.’” Moreover (God) said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel:
‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This
is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’”
To all generations...past, present, and
future...God is saying, “I am all you need.” The great I AM changes not. He is not the God of I WAS or the God
of I WILL BE, but He is the God of I AM, and the God of I AM is full of power.
In chaos, the great I AM can bring a
spirit of peace.
In darkness, the great I AM can bring light to the world.
In death, the great I AM c! an bring
a spirit of resurrection life.
These promises are for you because your Lord and Savior is the great I AM. By Him all
things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities
or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist (Colossians
1:16,17 NKJV).
What do you need God to be today? Savior? Lord? Restorer? Comforter? Healer? Deliverer? Whatever need
you might have, He is able to meet that need. He is the great I AM! |

TO ALL THE CAT LOVERS:
This came from an ArcaMax newsletter :
A Cat Christmas Story From HazelAz
via Mindspring "This is a story about our first Christmas with our cat Lucy. She
was only a few months old and so full of energy. It was the first Christmas in our new house and we wanted to have everything
perfect. My first move was not decorating the bottom two feet of our nine foot artificial Christmas tree so there would be
nothing for her to easily reach. To further thwart our little girl, I set up motion detector toys (a frog and a Dalmatian)
to make noises at her as she crossed their path. "Well, she didn't seem to care
about the ornaments, but she really loved the packages. Specifically, she really loved opening the packages. One day I came
home from work, and she ran to the tree to proudly show me that she'd discovered that if she went around the frog it wouldn't
yell at her. Wasn't I proud of my baby? "She then proceeded to jump on the frog's
back and bite its head. "Later on I discovered her sleeping under the tree, all
nestled up in scraps of wrapping paper she'd taken off of packages and made into a nest. My strategy didn't seem to be working.
Drastic measures were clearly called for. "So I brought out the Halloween gargoyle.
This thing is creepy. Motion activated, it yells and flaps its bat wings and its eyes flash red. I set it up by the tree an
went to make dinner. After a few minutes I heard it yell and looked around the corner just in time to see a black streak running
for our bedroom. Lucy had finally met her match - the gargoyle had convinced her to stay away. "That
Christmas we all had presents with claw and teeth marks on them. I often had to explain to guests why we had a Halloween decoration
under our tree. As a somewhat fitting end to the story, we all came down with the flu just a couple of days before Christmas,
and Lucy probably had more fun on Christmas day than anybody else." Compiled by

UPDATE CALENDAR REFERENCE INSTR......
Took 11 days to figure out what to do to link the calendar to the page #'s, so here's the "fix" (also proper way
to do this again with each new page added):
Open and make the day's page. Publish when thru. Check browser address line and obtain the correct
page id #. (November calendar HTML is working perfectly/ back-reference).
In between tags, enter the page id# and date.
